What services does WIC provide?
All WIC services are free to those who are eligible.
WIC provides the following services:
- Health screening
- Nutrition and health education including:
- Breastfeeding support, including our Breastfeeding Peer Counselor and access to manual or electric breastpumps
- Referrals for health and community resources / programs
- Nutritious Supplemental Foods
During summer months at participating WIC clinics, WIC clients can receive checks for the Farmers Market Nutrition Program. These checks allow them to purchase Washington grown fresh fruits and vegetables at authorized Farmers Markets. Read more about the Farmers Market Nutrition Program here.
