Katie Konrad, ARNP

Education:
B.A. Stanford University, 1998
B.S.N. Johns Hopkins University, 1991
M.S.N. University of Washington, 1996
Certification:
Family Nurse Practitioner, American Nursing Credentialing Center, 1996
Why I work at Neighborcare Health:
The mission of Neighborcare Health resonates with my values. I believe everyone deserves access to quality medical, dental and behavioral health care. I believe a person's optimal health begins with a medical home, providing a partnership in health care decision making.
Other:

Most recently I worked at a clinic in Tacoma serving people experiencing homelessness. We provided care at the clinic, in shelters and in low-income housing. Prior to that I worked on Vashon in family practice.

I have lived on Vashon for more than 20 years. I grew up in California and moved to the Northwest after college. I love being outside--hiking, skiing, gardening and walking. I also love yoga, sewing, reading and cooking. My children are in college, so my husband and I are "empty nesters."
