Before joining Neighborcare, Sarah worked in two other community health centers providing primary care. She is originally for the Midwest and has lived in Wisconsin and Michigan. She loves camping and hiking and all tings outdoors. She also loves to knit, sew and create things with her hands. Sarah is recently married and lives with her husband and two cats with plans to add a dog to the mix soon.

It is a joy to work with people who come from Africa, Asia, and India – our patients are from around the globe.”

Marilee has experience in internal medicine, rheumatology, emergency/urgent care and women’s health. Originally from Pennsylvania, she moved to the west coast almost 40 years ago. She enjoys gardening, hiking, reading and being with family and friends. She also enjoys travel and adventure and has trekked in Nepal, hiked across Scotland and gone scuba diving in the tropics.

Kristen volunteered at an orphanage in Honduras for 1.5 years, which served as her inspiration for going into medicine. In her prior work she’s been a personal assistant for a disabled person, a business analyst for a consulting firm and an assistant in a biomedical engineering department. Although she was born in Illinois, Kristen grew up in Virginia with three siblings and a large extended family. She is married with a young daughter. In her spare time she enjoys traveling and hopes to someday visit as many national parks as she can.

Neighborcare Health's pledge to decrease the gap in accessible health care for under served communities is a goal that is aligned with what I feel is lacking in US health care today. Working in a school-based health center is exciting. We can help shape a youth's future health and affect his/her education and potential.

Before joining Neighborcare Health Erica worked in a broad range of primary care settings, nationally and internationally. Most recently she was based in Eastern and Southern Africa caring for children living with and exposed to HIV/AIDS.

Erica was born in New Hampshire and moved at age nine to Pakistan and then Kenya. She returned to the United States for undergraduate studies and then worked in the Peace Corps in Morocco. She is married and has three daughters.

I am proud to work for an agency that provides accessible health care services to ALL families despite their level of income. I love working with the students and families at Mercer’s School-Based Health Center! I am regularly humbled by the experiences of my clients and I am very passionate about providing a safe and Non-judgmental therapeutic environment where students can share their stories, focus on their social and emotional well being and make positive life changes.

Before joining Neighborcare Health, Natalie worked at various schools throughout King County for the last eight years. Most recently she was a mental therapist at Madrona K-8 School. She has background in running Grief and Loss (bereavement) support groups and has volunteered with Providence Hospice of Seattle for the past 6 years. She has also volunteered at Camp Erin (a grief camp for kids in King County through Safe Crossings and the Moyer Foundation) for the past 4 years.
Although born in California, Natalie has spent much of her life in the Pacific Northwest. She loves to travel and has visited Italy, Spain, France, The Netherlands, Belgium and Mexico. In her spare time Natalie enjoys being outside and running as well as camping, hiking, yoga, reading and music.

I work at Neighborcare Health because I am dedicated to providing accessible, affordable and quality health care to families and individuals in our community. Working in the school-based program is especially rewarding because I get to work with and learn from students of all different walks-of-life.

Before joining Neighborcare Health Caitlin worked at a community health center in Missoula, Montana and volunteered as a rapid HIV tester/counselor at the Missoula AIDS Council. She has been an ESL teacher in Shenzhen, China and an ESL tutor in Florence, Italy. Caitlin grew up in Seattle but has travelled extensively both domestically and internationally. Her favorite international destination is Cambodia, but she says that Glacier National Park in Montana is a close second. When at home, she likes to spend her time reading and playing with Mabel, a three-year old border collie.

I enjoy working with people of diverse backgrounds, cultures and belief systems, and embrace opportunities to learn from my patients about their own perspectives on health and illness. I appreciate being able to develop long-term relationships with my patients. I find it immensely rewarding to work at an organization where no one, regardless of financial or insurance status, is denied access to quality health care. My goal as a health care provider is to arm patients with the knowledge that will best enable them to improve their own health status, and by extension, the health of our communities.
