Brigitte was a dental assistant before she decided to go to dental school. After she completed her degree she went on to do a General Practice Residency at Swedish. While there she worked primarily with medically complex, disabled and fearful patients. Brigitte moved to Seattle from Portland, OR in 2000. In her free time she enjoys reading, cooking, spending time outdoors, and traveling.

Gary is originally from Illinois and in his free time he performs as a solo vocalist and chorus member and spends time maintaining over 200 kinds of trees in his arboretum.

Jessica initially trained as a herbalist and brings a holistic and integrated approach to health care. She has previously worked in women's health care, providing care to patients at Planned Parenthood. She is also trained to work with new parents and babies to support breastfeeding. Jessica worked her way through medical school and residency as a single parent and now lives with her partner and youngest child on Vashon. She enjoys working in her vegetable garden and cooking.

As a Neighborcare midwife, I am able to provide quality care to all women, and work in a supportive and empowering environment.

Before becoming a certified nurse-midwife, Anna worked in women's health research. There she discovered her passion for pregnancy and birth care. She received training as a Doula (birth coach) and worked in a birth center in Washington D.C. Anna relocated to Seattle and went back to school to become a midwife. She is enthusiastic to be joining Neighborcare Health as a midwife. When she isn't seeing patients or catching babies, Anna enjoys reading, hiking and exploring the Pacific Northwest.
