Neighborcare Health's Medical Director, Marcus Rempel, MD, recently was a guest columnist for the South Seattle Beacon blog, urging Washington state legislators to give voters a chance to save crucial health care safety net programs.
"I'm very concerned about what years of budget cuts are doing to our state's health-care system. I took an oath to prevent harm, and I believe our state elected officials should do the same," wrote Dr. Rempel. He reminds us of how the proposed cuts will impact all of us, not just those patients who could lose health insurance.
