Since the launch of open enrollment on Oct. 1, 2013, Neighborcare’s team of enrollment specialists has been out in the community getting uninsured Seattleites enrolled in the Health Benefit Exchange at community fairs, libraries, clinics, churches, farmers markets – you name it. As of June 12th, 2015 Neighborcare Health eligibility staff have enrolled 21,766.

The media is abuzz with stories about challenges with the federal exchange websites. However, Washington State’s Healthplanfinder has been named one of the success stories for the state exchanges. As of Nov. 19, the Washington Health Benefit Exchange reported that more than 98,399 residents have enrolled and an additional 159,551 have in progress applications.
