Dental Residencies

Neighborcare Health’s one-year residency programs provide graduates with DMD or DDS degrees with real-world work experience and a robust, supportive learning environment to hone their general dentistry skills. Neighborcare Health provides two distinct program options for prospective residents to consider: an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) and a General Practice Residency (GPR).

Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD)

In partnership with NYU Langone, we offer an AEGD residency for up to four residents at our Georgetown dental clinic in Seattle, WA. Residents at our Georgetown clinic serve a diverse patient population, from infants to adults, who face barriers to getting quality dental care. The residents perform all aspects of general dentistry during their residency.

If you are a dental school graduate and are interested in applying for AEGD residency, email Dr. Mark Bai at markb@neighborcare.org. Visit https://www.nyulangonedental.org/programs/wa/neighborcare-health/aegd to learn more about the curriculum.

General Practice Residency (GPR)

In partnership with Providence St. Peter Hospital, we operate the Dental at Providence St. Peter clinic in Olympia, WA, where up to three residents provide general dentistry to a diverse patient population, from infants to adults, who face barriers to getting quality dental care. The residents perform all aspects of general dentistry during their residency, as well as obtain valuable medical experience through their hospital rotations.
