Why I work at Neighborcare Health:
Neighborcare Health's pledge to decrease the gap in accessible health care for under served communities is a goal that is aligned with what I feel is lacking in US health care today. Working in a school-based health center is exciting. We can help shape a youth's future health and affect his/her education and potential.
Before joining Neighborcare Health Erica worked in a broad range of primary care settings, nationally and internationally. Most recently she was based in Eastern and Southern Africa caring for children living with and exposed to HIV/AIDS.
Erica was born in New Hampshire and moved at age nine to Pakistan and then Kenya. She returned to the United States for undergraduate studies and then worked in the Peace Corps in Morocco. She is married and has three daughters.
