About our services
Our clinics welcome transgender and gender nonconforming patients. Our health care teams are prepared to meet the unique health care needs related to gender transition and confirmation in addition to primary medical care needs. Neighborcare Health’s providers can prescribe and help patients manage hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for female to male and male to female. They can also make referrals to transition-related services including gender confirmation surgeries and non-surgical services such as hair removal.
Treating the whole person
Neighborcare care believes in the importance of treating the whole person—body and mind. In addition to medical services, many clinics also have on-site behavioral health care teams with experience supporting transgender and gender nonconforming patients, as well as social services and information about community resources.
